Biography

Judith Stacy is the author of 24 historical romance novels. Her books are translated into a dozen languages and sold worldwide.

Her titles include a Harlequin Historical’s Top Seller of the Year, a RITA Award Finalist, and a No.1 on the Barnes & Noble Historical List.

Judith’s favorite settings for her novels are the American West in the 1880s and Los Angeles at the close of the 19th century, a time when tough men of the West and men building financial empires were rivaled only by women who were just as strong.

Her heartwarming stories are about love, family and commitment, and are brought to life with lots of laughs.

Judith also writes mystery novels under the name Dorothy Howell. The Haley Randolph series and the Dana Mackenzie series feature the same strong, sassy women, hot men, and laugh-out-loud humor that readers love in her romantic fiction.

Judith lives with her family in Southern California where she is a requested speaker at women and civic events, writers’ panels and workshops. She’s appeared on television and radio promoting her work.
